Bubble Tea

Bubble tea is originated from Taiwan in the early 1980's, and quickly became a hit among Asian countries. This particular beverage is suitable for all age groups, let it be elementary school kids, business man or senior citizens, this is definitely a refreshing tea after long hours of work. Soon after the hit, one concession owner became popular in experimenting fruit flavors with the tea. Words spread quickly and other owners started to add more flavorings to their tea. Tea needs to be shaken well for a good blend in flavors, and it forms bubble in the drink which came to be known as "Bubble Tea".

In 1983, Liu Han-Chieh introduced Taiwan to tapioca pearls. Very quickly these tapioca pearls are incorporated into the already famous bubble tea. The pearls will be settling at the bottom of the cup looking like bubbles, further contributing to the name "Bubble Tea".

The beverage is shaken and served in ice; therefore they offer a cool and refreshing sensation. The perfect bubble tea should offer the perfect texture of the tapioca pearls/ bubbles, not too soft and not too tough to chew. It should be similar to the chewiness of a gresh gummy bear. On top of that, the drink must be smooth, creamy and flavorful. Bubble tea can be served in either hot or cold. The cool beverage should have a good taste and a refreshing sensation. The warm ones should be prepared at the perfect temperature without ruining the texture for both the tea and pearls.

Our Bubble tea comes in a variety of flavors. Some are made with fresh fruit, some with the Bubble Tea Supply flavored powders and some with the flavored syrups. However the drink is mixed, it should not be watery. There should be a clear and distinct flavor with every drink enjoyed with bubbles to chew down with the drink.
